Python wrapper for dsf-to-gml.awk. Converts X-Plane DSF meshes into ESRI shapefiles.
Optionally exports DSF mesh vertices to point shapefile with Z attribute.
1. Select binary or text DSF file.
2. Additionally export vertex point shapefile with Z attribute?, default=NO
If YES to export vertex points with Z attribute, choose whether to export one point for shared triangle vertices (comprising x,y,z), or whether to export all vertices for all triangles together with all per-vertex attributes (x,y,z,normals, and any other coordinates)
Output is to the source DSF file directory. The vertex point shapefile has a name suffix of ‘_vertex’. The output terrain shapefile together with any POLYGON or NETWORK asset shapefiles appear in a subfolder named ‘shp_’ + source DSF filename.
